Every week of AI CEA prepares you for the next. By the end of Week 4 you will have a clinical tool you built yourself and can deploy in your practice on Monday morning.
The AI Assistant Mindset
Reframe AI as a non-clinical productivity tool. Establish the ethical foundation, understand how AI language models actually work, and write your first few-shot prompt using a four-component framework.
Structured Data and Triage
Transform raw clinical shorthand into formatted, discipline-specific documentation. Learn the three-category triage framework that separates observations from impressions before anything touches an AI tool.
Quality Control and Clinical Voice
Audit AI-generated documentation for hallucinations, factual errors, and scope violations. Build your custom instruction set and clinical voice profile so every AI output sounds like you, not a generic template.
Scaling the Workflow
The capstone build. Design and deploy a complete prompt library or clinical AI configuration targeting your most time-consuming weekly documentation task. Peer showcase and revision included.
AI CEA is designed around deployable outcomes, not passive learning. Every week produces a deliverable. Week 4 produces the clinical tool you will actually use in practice.
A clinical AI mindset grounded in professional ethics, scope of practice, and the official guidance of ASHA, AOTA, and APTA
Structured, immediately applicable strategies for integrating AI into your daily documentation workflow
A personalized, ready-to-use clinical tool built specifically for your credential, your setting, and your most time-consuming documentation task
The confidence to evaluate, apply, and advocate for ethical AI in your workplace and with your colleagues
A certificate documenting 10 professional development hours upon successful completion of course hands-on learning activities
Upon completing the hands-on learning activities across all four weeks, you will receive a certificate documenting 10 professional development hours from the Clinical AI Collective.
SLPs may use these hours toward ASHA's professional development requirements. Acceptance for ASHA certification maintenance and state licensure renewal varies by state and individual licensure board requirements. Learners are encouraged to verify acceptance with their state board before enrollment.
OTs and COTAs may self-report hours as professional development units (PDUs) toward NBCOT recertification requirements. PTs and PTAs should verify acceptance of non-board-approved continuing education with their individual state licensing board prior to enrollment, as requirements vary by state.
